Worship and Music

Worship Time: 9:30 AM

Childcare for infants and toddlers is available during the worship service and Sunday School for adults is provided at 10:30 AM.

Worship is a time to express our love for God and all that God has done in our lives. It is a celebration of God’s grace and a recognition of all that the church is doing in response to that grace. Worship is something that we do together for God’s pleasure. Everyone can participate. If you are called to sing, read, or share your faith story, you are invited.

At Santee United Methodist Church, worship is expressed in a variety of ways: with traditional choir and hymn singing as well as singing praises with the most modern sacred songs. Scripture guides the sermon and conversation, and a time of prayer – both lifted aloud as a community and silently in our hearts – is provided. We celebrate the sacraments of baptism and communion, (which includes a gluten free option) and recognize that worship is for ALL people, no exceptions.
