Children and Youth

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” This is taken to heart at Santee United Methodist Church.

Childcare for infants and toddlers is provided during the 9:30 AM worship service. Sunday School for K-6 grade is also offered during worship. A special time of teaching called “Children’s Moment” takes place during service. Children are welcomed and encouraged to worship with their family. We have started offering a “Prayground” near the front of the sanctuary during service on 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays, for young children to stay in service, with quiet activities.

KICK (Kids in Christ’s Kingdom) is our midweek program for children grades 1st-6th, held Thursdays 5-6pm during the school year.  CLICK HERE to learn more about KICK.
